Cloudflare is on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers more than 10 trillion requests per month, which is nearly 10 percent of all Internet requests for more than 2.5 billion people worldwide. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare have all traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with each new site added. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks.
Cloudflare support is inadequate. We had a recent incident with their new billing system, which took almost 10 days to resolve, and it could result to the cancellation of our pro plans for our high traffic sites just because their system show no notifications and no ways to fix things. Support response is slow and therefore when it comes to critical issues and large sites, I cannot imagine what the consequences of such a delay would be. Unfortunately lack of taking responsibility is a plague that becomes more and more common today. We are in the process of looking for alternatives to Cloudflare.
I am satisfied with their service. I use the free service for my homepage the second time now and i have to say it feels well protected to me. Sometimes a small error with ssl through their dns system happens but it works after a refresh of the browser. The new TOR v3 feature is a big plus in my eyes! I trust them!
Cloudflare makes little difference My website seems a lot slower with Cloudflare, perhaps because is on free plan and global cdn slows down with lots of users. I get spam comments through my contact forms additionally. Cloudflare is good for managing DNS.
