United States
Launched in the United States in January 2019, PointsBet is one of the fastest growing sportsbooks in the country and is rapidly expanding its U.S. footprint. Originally founded in Australia, PointsBet is a cutting-edge operator that prides itself on having the quickest and most user-friendly app (iOS and Android) while also providing the best content and experience for sports bettors. Currently operational in New Jersey, Indiana and Iowa, PointsBet has partnerships in place to soon launch in Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Michigan, New York, Ohio and West Virginia, subject to enabling legislation. PointsBet is the only U.S. online bookmaker to offer PointsBetting – a unique and innovative way to bet – and has also introduced a slew of well-received, bettor-first initiatives . PointsBet offers the most markets on all four major U.S. sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) and PointsBetting in the world, including up to 1,000 markets per NBA game. PointsBet announced the company’s Initial Public Offering on the Australian Securities Exchange on June 12, 2019.
I like the PointsBet app very much but I would like to see more uniform prop bets in line with what other sports book apps have. in other words, the same players in the props. PointsBet definitely has a lot of novel props and such but it would be nice to see uniformity across the board as well. Asian Handicap in soccer as well. All in all, a very nice app that works like a champ.
Pointsbet is an honest sportsbook with responsive customer service. They are quick to post lines for events once they are announced. They frequently have promos with favorable odds boosts, too. My only gripe is that the rewards program is very underwhelming. Overall, 4/5, my go-to sportsbook.
Awesome book. Always has good promo boosts and I have been on the right end of the karma committee’s rulings a few times. Moneyline early payouts have been great too with NHL and EPL. Only drawback is they may not have as many live / in play markets as compared to other books.
I have gambled with many other books in NJ and I would have to say pointsbet is by far the best. They have returned my money on bad luck bets (the Zion shoe incident) and have done many other things to put me the customer first. You can always live chat with a representative and they are willing to assist on the spot, which is not the case for all sports books. I would not even consider betting with anyone else. Also worth mentioning that PointsBet typically has the best odds and super good boosts and promos.
